I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    Code:

    B.A.M.F rock sliders

    Specs
Built from 1.75" .120 wall HREW or DOM bent, notched and fully welded to a 2x2 square tube with square legs and 3/16th frame plates and gussets. The sliders have a 1.5" taper towards the rear of the truck to aid in pushing the truck away from obstacles. With a added kick out (highly recommended for longer wheel base trucks) they will stick out 3.5" past the slider.

Some people ask why I use a square tube here is your answer
2 x 2 .120 square has nearly the same MOI (Moment of Inertia) as the 2 x 250 round, and is 35% lighter still (or 25% stronger and less than half the weight of the 1.75 x .5 round)

OD_ / ID_ = ....MOI........ Weight
    .......... round square ,round square
    1.5 /.120 = .125 , .212 , 1.77 , 2.25

I should jack it up on one side by the sliders and take a pic :D Too bad I don't think my jack is tall enough. We'll figure something out this weekend.... providing Toyota Financial doesn't screw me over more.

Yay for hybrid design. That is the correct way to do sliders.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Here is a set of non kick outs im working on for a member. They get progressively wider towards the back by about 1.5"

Don't mind my remodeling in the back ground :D

Jerry, got to see your sliders on Brian's truck. They are sick! Nice work man! Wondering if you'd be willing to do a set for my 09 DCSB?

    Looks good!

I have a general question I've been wanting to ask a fabricator about sliders. With the kick-outs, why the 2-part tubing? How come one piece starts at the front and ties back to the square tube, then a second piece makes the back kick-out, why not one single, continuous piece braced back to the square tubing every 12" or so. Just curious, I'm far from a fabricator, just a wondering mind!

Thanks man and yes I'm willing to do a set for you I'll do a set for everyone :D

Looks mainly I didn't like the look of one tube for the kick out sliders so I went this route. Non kick out sliders are one piece.
