B.A.M.F 2nd Gen Bed rail tie downs

Jerry any estimated time of availability? Going on a trip in May and hoping they will be off back order by then.

 

My supplier says late next week they should have the hardware.

found another use for them. even drove about 5 miles down the road with it like that, will say it dose move around a little bit though. also works great for holding rods while you put new hooks/lures on.




love these tie downs Jerry! I seam to keep finding more and more uses for them.

I really like my BAMF tiedowns.

However, the T-slot nuts are just raw steel, and will rust within a few months. Wish I had realized that sooner. I'll have to take them off this spring, and try to coat them with something.

 

Subd will be ordering a set as soon as I get the money any plans on doing mounts in the rear as well? Would be perfect I got a tool box on my truck

 

They are black oxide coated but they will rust over time and have limited corrosion protection. We were going to use SS but that would drive the price way up.

When I get mine I'm thinking I might scuff sand the surface and spray with self-etching primer and some BBQ paint... How tight do they fit into the rails?

 

They can move pretty freely in the rails so i dont think paint will be an issue if thats what your thinking.

 

I have not noticed my T slotted nuts doing this, but my bolts did do this. very might service rust. my bolts are not chrome or SS they are just the black oxide coated ones. this past winter i was thinking i’ll clean them up and paint them, dose not bother me at all that it happened.

 

Update I have been negotiating with manufacturers to get us some T slot nuts due to our supplier not having them for months! If all works out we should have some soon as well as the best pricing on t slots you can find on the internet right on our site.

Not really most manufacturers want you to buy 2500+ to start as a vendor and I'm not going to hold that kind of inventory. I have another option that I'm working on.

 

Well if you don't mind shipping without hardware I would take a set. I found out that I can get a pretty good deal through work on fasteners and whatnot and I think I want them in stainless
