Looking to get a steel one made, that will wrap kind of like the crappy plastic one the factory puts on.. But made of steel, and uses the stock bolting locations.. I want to be able to actually slide heavy, or sharp objects across the top of my tailgate when loading them... With out effing up that stupid lip (AGAIN) doesn't need to be skid grade str. But tougher than the plastic, and will reinforce the top of the tail gate a bit. Maybe 1/8 inch thick?

    Ideas?
