i plan on 4linking the rear when i sas the front next year and will deff be running these when that time comes....i ran with a truggy a few weeks ago that had 16in and 18in travel ori's and it was insane!!!! how you liking your rig now?

 

Yeah man they are the shit! I love them so far and i haven't even wheeled the truck yet. I'm sure once i tune them i will love them even more.

Would love to see these on a 2nd gen, how much lift would they give?

 

These will be on 2nd Gens and how much lift do you want? you can adjust the ride height to as high as your CV's will allow.

 

Probably 3-4 inches, enough to match the rear which would will be close to 4" unloaded with expos and 12" shocks.

 

Are you 4x4? If so that limits you to 3 inches (I think) or just over for the front

 

Yeah I am at like 2.5 right now and my cv's are fine. I don't know how much more lift I could get until they are too steep. Probably safer to stay around 3"

 

I think you can safely max out at 3.5" in the front. I'll know when mine get here exactly how much thoigh

 

So the ST 8" travel is the size were going with?

Jerry, what of these top plate re-enforcement's that were mentioned

Yes 8" travel is the size the top plate is like what you would see on a KING or Fox coilover. The ORI's are a bearing mounted through bolt like a smooth body shock or a coilover for a solid axle. The top plate is just there so its a true bolt on in the shock buckets.

 

Jerry how do you think these will handle at high speeds?

 

With the right tune great You will have to mess with the spring rates to get them how you want them.
