How do i paint my aluminum boat?

Has anyone here painted there aluminum boat? I am buying a used boat this week and it could use a coat of paint. I need to know how you did it. and what materal you used (what type of paint).

Use a primer designed for Aluminum Oxide (Rust-Oleum makes some). Lightly sand the boat, then use a tack cloth to rub it down, and then prime. After the primer is dry you can paint it with what you want.

Do you know of a good thick like paint. You know like the stuff the new tracker boats come with?
