    Seven Marine has a stock 557 HP outboard out, how long until there's one on a bass boat? I know mine would flip over backwards

    No way would I go that fast on the water. My biggest fear is drowning as a quadriplegic. My little boat only goes 50 but even that is too fast for me on the water.

    thats actually pretty economical....given the hp. Im running 120 hp, and at WOT I burn about 13 gph.....

    Also if a dude has the money to purchase that rig...I really dont think he gives a damn how much gas he is burning..

    Very true. I get just over 1mpg at 5800rpm. But a boat that size running 80+ in 4' waves is awesome

    The only downside you have when running a boat that big, that fast, and in big seas..is when you come plowing into the back of a large swell at 60+ and your boat feels like it comes to a complete stop....even if your ready you feel like your wrist is about to snap under the pressure from holding on...
