Buddy of mine just started making custom-made oyster knives. They look pretty sharp. Thought i'd pass it along. he'll be branching out into others styles of knives soon..

Those are beautiful knifes. I love the lanyards on them. When I get some money I may order some to add to my already extensive collection.

Haha, yes they work. I've seen it! And they are as nice in person as they look in photos.

To be honest, i really don't know how much he sells them for. They are custom made so i think it all depends on material/color and accessories.

I might be interested in the "other knife" style. I will try to research his site.

 

I don't eat enough oysters to justify owning such a beautiful awesome knife. haha.

 

I do leather work and make hot sauce holsters. I'd thought at one time they would sell well if I incorporated a "sheath" spot for an oyster knife. Wonder if you're buddy would like to put a few together and see how they sell?

 

so, is there good money in the hot sauce holster business?

 

It comes and goes. Not enough to make a living at it, but I do alright.
