Yeah man its a ball when you catch em like that! I know how you feel about your friend, I used to have a real good friend and the same thing happened. Thats just what some people choose! I dont fish local lakes here to much because of all the people runnin up and down the lakes. Their wake can flip over my little 10 ft. jon boat. Tournament fishers in their 40,000 dollar boats are the worst! They get so close to hittin people here its awful. I stick to the backwaters where most people cant even find or reach and the jon boat is a champ there! heres last nights catch, tonights supper!

Yes, I know what you mean, we caught 2 that day, mine being the second, if you notice I broke the rod, "high sticking" the fish at the last minute. That was the most expensive fish I never ate. Good times though. Kevin

Nice sailfish, the grouper was caught at or neat Bethyl Shoals out of Sebastain Inlet, of course I cant tell you the exact location but ...I have been to Jupiter many times for the sails. Nice pic.

I had some a couple weekends ago when we went down to Mississippi. Good eatn. The stripes up here are runnin like crazy now. Catchin 40 a day easy, but not the best fish to eat. The catfish is pickin up a little bit here. Might break out the ol jugs this weekend if I can get the motor on the boat runin!
