Quantity and size isn't everything where I come from.

My take from opening weekend of trout:

A small mountain stream with nothing but nature around you. It's surreal!

My 4 year old grandson caught a 4 lb flathead catfish on a Spiderman pole he just got for his birthday. It was all he and the pole could handle...

Catfish is one of the best fish to eat! I never have kept any bigguns like that though cuz always heard they was strong. You just soak em in saltwater a few days?

That is a damn sexy fish! Too bad your ugly mug is in the picture too :D

I just got back from a red fish hunt in Rockport, Texas and came back dry. A couple other boats in our group landed on some pods but nothing spectacular (biggest was 33"). I caught my limit on trout though.

The only crappy picture I have of a fish I caught:

nah, they all taste the same here as long as you clean them quickly.... If you clean them right you cant tell a difference... The larger cats have more red meat on them, but if you cut that out when you clean them you cant tell a difference
