Headin to the White River. Monster brown trout. They tend to measure them in pounds instead of inches out there.:yay::taco: Can't freakin wait.

We, Spokane Fly Fishers, just had Davy Wotton from Bull Shoals/Flippon Ark as a speaker at our monthly meeting. Gave us the low down on the White river, no special techniques needed, normal stuff will catch big fish. Looking forward to your report/pics.

I'm so excited. Officially booked the room, boat/motor today. Stayin in Cotter, but anywhere around Cotter/Flippin/Mountain Home is awesome, from what I hear. I might try taking my fly rod out there, but it's probably way too small for the fish out there. As far as spin fishing goes, I'm gonna be throwin a lot of big Rapalas and spinners. Hopefully I can post some pics of some big 10+ lb browns.

Biggest brown I have caught this year was on an undisclosed WY river, 25incher male caught on a #16 scud deep down. Love catching the big boys using little flys. Yesterday caught 7 cuttys all over 16, one maybe 20in, on #22 midge larva. Spotted a monster cutty in my hole, thing has to be 24in. Pics to come if I land that SOB:D

I caught a 16in male cutty and three 15in whitefish today on a #20 midge larva, temps were 29 degrees.

Went on a ski/fish date today with a girl I just met, was super fun. Hiked two deep powder runs in the morning that were awesome. Then she wanted to go fishing cause I was telling her how good it was. Let her fish the majority of the 2 hours we were out there, and she caught her first fish on a fly rod, a 15in female Cutty and two whiteys. Only took one pic today of her first cutthroat on a fly. She was stoked:cool:

Caught 2 cutthroat and 7 whitefish total. Didnt get the 24incher, but saw him again....

Ok ill play, I spend a lotta time on the water. Mustve fished at least 40 local club and open bass tournaments this year as well as just fun fishin. Heres some of my best fish from this year

Pic 1) My personal best. 4lbs 10oz on a worm in early april. Big prespawn female. She was about to explode

Pic 2) A pair of 3lbers from a club tournament on the upper chesapeake bay in May

Pic 3) 4lbs 3oz on topwater at dusk in late May. She hit it so hard my buzzbait broke lol

Pic 4) 4lbs 7oz Mid August flippin a creature bait into an outflow pipe after a rainstorm.
Thought i finally got my first one over 5lbs with this one but she was skinny

    Pic 5) 4lbs 9oz Early November on a rattletrap

Got outta class today and noticed the wind died down enough to give it ago. Instead of my usual kayak report my buddy was in town with his jonboat so we decided to hit it for a few hours to see what we could do.

Found a bunch of schooled up reds and had steady action the whole time.

I started off the day with a nice slot fish. Picture perfect red.

Then my buddy got hooked into one out of the same school and brought in this slob.

Moved to another creek and found one single fish pushing in the back of the creek that my buddy hooked up with
    [IMG]

Then it started to get dark on us and the water was creeping up making sight fishing a bit harder so i decided to start throwing my spook junior and hooked up with this bad boy

    Had 7 spots total
    [IMG]

Then the sun set on us and it was time to run back to the ramp

Couldnt ask for a more beautiful evening on the water.

    Thanks for reading

Was supposed to go on a float trip today. Buddy backed out on me last minute last night. They started generating, but I went and threw off the bank, anyway. Caught a few.

Forward facing camera makes for crappy pics.

    Just caught these...
