Haha. Sure. I've had a lot of people askin me that lately.

There's really not much to it. Learn where the fish should be, see what they're hittin, and you're set.

Most of my fish come on the spinning rod. I do fly fish some, and know what I'm doin, just can't get into it as much as spinning.

There's no trout around here, North central Alabama, that's why I wanted to come over there.

I'm great at bass and crappie fishing and I can even be pretty successful catching either on the fly. Just never tried my had at trout fishing in a river/stream. I do like to wade rivers/streams and fly fish but normally I catch little yearling bass, bluegill, red eye bass, etc.

I may come up there. I tried going to Little River in Ft Payne but I missed the prime by a few weeks. If you get lucky they say you can find a trout up there, but not to count on it.

It's been a little slow around here latey. Don't know what the deal is. Cold weather is usually pretty good fishing...but they don't seem to want to hit much lately.

The crappie have turned on down here so that's what we're mainly fishing right now, but I'm about to hit bass pretty hard and try my hand at a few trips fly fishing for trout. I think I'm gonna head up into Tennessee and see what I can do.

Go to Arkansas. Fish the white river and the Norfork. You'll never want to trout fish anywhere else. We're keeping an eye on reports from out there and as soon as the shad kill starts, we're makin a last second trip. We didn't catch any monsters last time, but they were good fish and fun to fight.

Definitely look it up. We stay at this place:

    http://hisplaceresort.net/

It's nothin fancy, but we're only there to eat and sleep really. There are other places that are cheaper...like $35/night...that are basically just a room with a bunkbed. Our rooms have 2 beds, a cot, a full kitchen, and a bathroom, so we pay a little extra for the extra ammenities. There are boat ramps everywhere along that river, so it's not hard to find a spot to put in.
