Thanks guys!! These are some of my biggest landed and not the norm. The average trout around NS is around the 2lbs range and Atlantic Salmon around 10lbs.

The Reef, no monsters, but a fun trip just the same, looking forward to some fall streamer chucking up there.

That sounds awesome, but I have plans for the next month(s), maybe October some time. I was thinking about a trip to the Walden lakes for some mean browns this fall.

Dolly Varden all day long on streamers in AK last month. Even hooked into a couple 10 lb+ sockeye, and managed to land a couple. The Dollys are awesome fried up for breakfast.

    Nice fish guys!!!!!

Does anyone use a rod holder that suctions to the hood of the truck and cab?

or does anyone have flyfishing decals/stickers on their truck?

Thinking about getting both for mine.

I've got both. Decals in the bed and rod holders. I've got the magnetic type. They hold really good even at 55 MPH. Not sure what brand they are, I got them as an outgoing president's gift from the Spokane Fly Fishers. I think they got them from Silver Bow Fly Shop in Spokane. Lots of places have them. They can scratch the paint a bit if you're not carefull.

Thanks for the reply...going to look into getting a Simms sticker for the rear window and maybe the suction cup holders for the outside
