Show off you best largemouth bass. Here are some from this year I'll try to dig up older ones. I have some toads.

 

8.12 tossed it back for later.

 

I need to get a scale. I just guess on the weight. Usually on the upside lol.

 

I have a digital scale I got from BPS for about $15. Best money ever spent. Plus you end up being great at guessing. You wouldn't realize how far you are at guessing without a scale. haha

 

My buddy bought one but ever since he got it we haven't caught a single fish worth weighing. its like a curse.

Here is the one on my wall. My grandmother actually caught this one in 1940. I had it restored. She said it weighed 11.5!

Most of these are shoal bass. I live righ tby the Okmulgee river in GA, which is one of the few places in the world where you can find a shoal bass. Enjoy

They're only in GA, AL, and FL, but most prominently in the Flint River area of GA (where I just so happen to be right smack dab in the middle of!) It used to be considered a sub-species of the red-eye bass, but in 1999, it became its own species.

Personal best 5.83, coupled with a decent 3.5. Cashed a check in that tournament. Not bad for a cold march day
