Planning to trailer my boat from CT to the Florida Keys for a few weeks in August. My trailer is from the late 90s but in pretty decent shape.

Aside from bringing all the necessary tools and making sure my bearings/tires/lights are in good condition, does anybody have any good suggestions for the haul?

I used to tow a walleye boat 3-6000 mi. a year. Check your trailer hubs for heat at each gas stop. I never had a problem with a maintained trailer. Have fun.

Get towing insurance through boat us. Inexpensive, and worth every penny.
