    I'd wear glasses whenever possible, fishing, frying bacon, you name it, you never know when a freak accident might happen.

    I once took a large hook in the bicep. I could not get it to pull out, so I had to push the hook through the other side, clip the barb, then back it out. Sucked, but at least it wasn't my eye.

    Either pulling it out of a tree or someone in front of him was whipping the rod pretty hard and didnt know he was behind them, Those hooks are sharp as shit i had one go past the barb into the back of my head.

    Polarized glasses are awesome. Not only do they keep that crap from happening, but you can see into the water better, too. I hooked my buddies hat one time. It was dark and we were on a tiny boat. Luckily that's all it was...his hat.
