Drooling over idea of boat in spring... But, What kind???

I keep dreaming and talking of getting a boat next spring, I will have to see if the money allows it... I have the 4 cycle so prob limited to around a 3500lb boat (which is good cant afford much more). What are people running. I was looking for a 18-20 foot fiberglass/aluminum closed bout ocean going boat... It is alaska after all... not the most friendly place. I love lake boats, but not much of a market up here for that. I know I love the etec motors.... Was looking at a trophy 18' walkaround. or a hewes craft searunner..

my dad has a etec engine and they are awesome. you can winterize them on the trailer just by doing some easy throttle sequences. it is good on gas and oil and it has a lot of power he has the 200 h.o
