I went out bass fishing today on Lake Waxahachie and it turned out to be a very good day. I caught this monster on a 6" pink senko. There is currently no registered lake record but this is a big crappie. Going tomorrow to get it put on certified scales.
Not official yet but my scale says 2 lb 7 oz, 16" long

awesome fish man. that things huge. you'll get some good fillets off it after you weigh it. there was a guy about 50 miles from here that caught a 5 lb. crappie outta lake chikamagua not long ago. that was a beast as well. congrats on the trophy!
