Just got my AudioControl DDC installed. Right now its just resting above my visor... I'll mount it tomorrow sometime. I feel like poo today... nasty cold. But man its slick. I sat in the driveway and cranked the stuffing out of it for a bit setting everything up... my ears are ringing like the old days. ...

Mounted my Audio Control DDC.

I still need to put my backseat back in, and the mount I made is separate from the Scan Gauge mount, I think I might combine them to make it stiffer. As it is, the weight of the two is causing the headliner to sag a little. Hardly noticeable, but I want it straight.

Its basically a remote control for my Audio Control DQX... which is a digital crossover/equalizer. Since the DQX is under the seats, adjustments are not so easy. But the DQX has two 30 band EQ's, 2 parametric EQ's, a 3 way crossover and more crap.

Thanks for the explanation, I was almost afraid to ask, but I actually get it. If there is one thing that I just never took the time to figure out it is audio stuff.

Finally got around to replacing the 14" coils up front with 16" coils. Same spring rate, just longer. 650 lbs is the highest you can go with a 2.5 ID coil so my only choice was to go longer.

Turned out pretty nice, After its settled it was at 39" left and right. Just under 2" of exposed thread on passenger side, 2.25 on driver side.

Drives nice, need to get out and see how it handles being stuffed up. I suspect it will act the same, if not better than the 14" coils. You had to preload the 14's so much that you lost some travel. We'll see.

Where do you think those old coils went? That baby is going to have the sickest stroller in the world.

Sean probably has his old bedside in storage and saving it for a sweet TRD crib.

I should be.. Actually I put together the furniture... now we just need to put everything away. Its a mess! I really should be putting up curtains and shelves. Those where the things I was supposed to be doing. But I took today off from work to work on the Taco. Its much more fun than working on the nursery.

Hell yeah!! Tube chassis, adjustable coilovers front and rear, beadloacks, 29" Swampers, Mastercraft safety seat, rock lights and a place for a cooler.
