How is the Powertrax's manors on road? I have a factory LSD sitting in the garage that I have been contemplating putting in, but the more I think about it I Probably should have spent the money on a automatic locker or selectable locker...

Is the regear to accomodate some bigger tires?

The Auto locker has decent road manners, but since I'm re-gearing and putting a locker in the front (has to be ARB) I figured I might as well upgrade the rear to ARB. I'll be selling my auto-locker if you're interested. It should be in the Buy/ Sell/ Trade section by this weekend. Also going to sell my 4.10 gears.

Yeah, and to regain power with the tires I've got right now.

Did you lose that much with 32's? How big are you planning to go?

Forgot to address the street-ability question. I got the "No-Slip" version and it has much better road manners than the cheaper Lock Right. It's about 90% transparent. Both are HUGE assets off road. The only scenario where they aren't desirable is Ice.

I didn't lose that much power, but with the 2.7L engine it was definitely noticeable. I don't get into 5th gear until about 70 and off-road in 4LO exclusively.

I'd like to get 33s, but probably won't do that until these tires wear out. With 33s and 4.56 gears the ratio will be only slightly lower than stock.

Here's some pics of the seat swap. Since I didn't need the middle seat belt anymore, I decided to use it as a make-shift harness. Incidentely, the bucket seats hold me in place alot better than the bench did, so I usually just use one of the seat belts. It's nice to have one I can manually lock though. Without a center console, there's plenty of room to fit a cooler between the seats for long trips (I still want a console though).

My only purely cosmetic mod to date was to paint the front emblem black. It will look even better when I do the BHLM. I plan to paint all the chrome badges black too.

Here's some picks of my truck in it's disassembled state. I decided to do as much as I could at once.

Thanks, it just kinda worked out. There are 2 metal loops on that rail that hold it up and the bungie keeps it from moving.

In the middle of the BHLM. I decided to tape off the blinker cavity so they would stay good and bright. Here's some pics:

I finished the BHLM and reinstalled the Headlights and Grill. The picture isn't very great because of the lighting. But, I'll be taking better pics once I'm done with everything in a couple weeks.

Some Better pics of the BHLM and my painted wheels.

I did the wheels with Flat Black industrial application enamel by Rustoleum. I don't think that flat is the best option for other rims, but definitely is for these.

Also, my 4WD badges came in. I'll be painting them black along with my other badges.
