An ugly weld is not as strong. I am sure that it is quite sufficient, but would like to have done a better job.

Keep in mind, the bad welds can always be ground off and re done. Propper penatration is the most important....More so than looks......wait......were talking about/aboot welding....right?

I got good penetration. I just got some poppping and pitting from the gas being blown away. No worries. Slider # 1 seemingly has 0 flex in it.
