Hey guys, my build won't be as badass as some of yours but I figured I'd post up anyway. I have a 06 DC SR5. Got it completely stock, the place I got it from installed a new windshield, new starter, and new tires...all good except the tires are garbage. Just plain awful in the snow, even a half-inch of snow and I'm driving like a first-timer. Anyway, here's my progression so far :) Any comments, tips, advice, etc is encouraged!!

First mod was an aFe stage 2 cold air intake. I've had it for about a month or so and definitely noticed the noise change and the truck felt a bit peppier, especially in the low RPMs and when pulling passed 4,000 to about 5,000. Sounds like a massive V8 when driving around town and when the foot goes down, it wakes up like all hell! Overall I'm happy with it, only downside is a strong harmonic that vibrates throughout the truck at about 3,500RPM.

Next up was an Aries bull bar and projector headlights. The headlights are actually much brighter than stock and look fantastic IMO. Only somewhat negative thing I can mention about them is the cutoff...they're not perfectly horizontal, but are split half and half. The left half of the spread is horizontal then the right half angels up. I suppose so as to not blind oncoming drivers on the left, but I'd rather they be flat. Anyhow, they look great! Also I removed the bug deflector..although I liked the look of it on, I'm liking it off better

Looks good. I like those headlights. You might be able to attribute the unevenness of them to the taco lean.

The truck was like that for about 2 weeks until tax season came around. In the mail (no idea where it is though :( ) is my grillcraft grill, behind which I will mount my amber Hella fog lights.

Yesterday I got my 3" ToyTec/OME lift. I chose OME 885 coils with the AAL for the rear. I also upgraded to OME9000 shocks. I might upgrade the rear shocks a bit later.

Today I got my new tires...after much debate and research I decided on TreadWright 265/75/16 Warden A/T. They look great and TW was nice enough to ship BFG All-Terrain sidewalls with them.

Not sure when I'll be able to install the lift and tires, hopefully in the next week and a half or so (super bowl and woman day aren't helping plus I work saturdays) I'll keep you guys posted!

got the lift, tires, and grillcraft installed over the weekend. looks great and drives pretty well, but I do have a vibration from 55-60mph. might try the carrier bearing drop to see if it helps. here's a few pics:

It's the design of the headlights. I have a feeling it's so you can see stuff off the side of the road. I got tired of mine and just today received a package with my new headlights. I'm going back to stock(ish) style.

    Nice truck, btw. :)

For folks asking about the cutoff on those projectors, it's like this:
