WTB: Strobe Lights for emergency use
Before I get flamed or anything I am a volunteer fireman and I am allowed to use strobes. Anybody have a set they may want to part with? This is sort of a feeler to see if anything interesting pops up. thanks

i have led grille lights that are great low power draw with high output lights i should clarify myself im looking for a hide away kit with my experience of seeing led and the old style glass bulbs leds are not as bright in that aspect in my personal opinion although i do see a lot of benefit from led dont get me wrong here

No. It mounts right up with the rearview mirror. If you troll through my pics I have some posted of it.

I have this in the red/red combo. Bright as hell and has a ton of strobe patterns. It's in perfect condition, nothing wrong with it whatsoever. It's been sitting in a box, wrapped in bubblewrap since I moved down here to Orlando.
I had one on the windshield above the rearview and one that stretched across the slider in the rear when I was a firefighter. I already sold one of them (it was amber/amber for the rear). I'd let it go for $100 - I bought it brand new for $200+. Fink

what color are you looking for? I have 2 blue grill leds and 2 hide away leds I need to remove from my truck.
also, its not an opinion thing. LED is FAAAAAAR brighter than strobes. They even make light bars out of leds now. and you dont have to worry about them burning out all the time. |

Remember not to put red lights on the rear of your POV, as that will mesmerize drivers behind you. Stick with clear/amber for anything that is going to be rear-facing. I also agree that LED's are way brighter. The Whelen Slimlighter I have for sale, and that I linked you to, is insanely bright. Fink
