You definitely have a unique idea, as do they. And they are a bit more, around $100 bucks for one outfitted for my personal needs.

in my (limited) scope, these would be great for single key applications, like my motorcycles, but I couldnt go around with 4 in my pocket to replicate my daily key needs.

    Good luck with the project!

Do you always use the same "All Metal" kershaw/gerber knife handle, or do you just use random knife handles? I have an old kershaw knife I could send you as well as a 3rd key to make mine out of...

Thanks man. They were done for a motorcycle at first, but then we decided to do cars and house keys too.

I do not recommend these guys. Terrible with communication. They sent me back a non working key. They apparently screwed up my chip. I am out the money I sent them and what it will cost to replace the key. They are not even courteous enough to reply to my messages, cowards.

Hey cut them some slack there just a couple of high school kids who had an idea and tried to sell it an it worked. It seems like they got a bigger response then they expected and they now have there hands full and there have been some snags like a batch of transponders that don't work but there doing everything they cand to make it right. As for them not responding to you have you emailed them there 4runner guys so there not on here much of you take a look at the link in the op and look at the last page of the thread you'll see what there doing to make it right one of them has even put his number up so people can get in immediate contact with him. Before you go and tarnish there rep take try some other routes to get a hold of them if you emailed or texted them I'm sure they'd work with you to make it right.

My experience with them has been good I sent then in a key for them to use to make mine and because of that and the fact that I don't need a transponder for my key they gave me a discount. When I asked then if they could Also could send me instructions to take it apart when they sent it to me so I could paint the handle to match my truck he got in contact with a powder coated and got it powder coated the color of my truck and it only cost a couple bucks more.
Yes I still don't have the key yet but that's not there fault. The powder coaster was swamped and my color was on back order. Furthermore they were worried about breaking my key if they used the spare I sent them so they made it with a blank and are getting it cut for me befor they ship it and are shipping me back the spare i sent them with my key knife at no cost to me. It's shipping out Monday and I'll have it by the end of next week.

All in all these kids are good guys cut them some slack and they'll work with you and give them some props for being in high school and trying to pull a business like this props I'll stand behind these guys 100%

Hey if you wanna vouch for these guys great ......send me a check. I don't give a shit if they are in high school or have a MBA from Harvard. I am still out my money. I have tried to contact them and they do not respond, like I said cowards who are in over their heads. In fact they only live about an hour from me and I might end up taking a ride and surprising them one day after they get home from school.
