RL Hydro-Graphix Water Transfer Printing

UPDATED 09-15-14

Hey everyone.
Things are going great here. Business is busy with both shops. We are always taking in new projects and keeping up with the customer demand. Let us be the first ones you contact for the best pricing in industry.

10% off for Tacoma World members!!!!

First off, thank you for taking the time to read this ad.
This is a process that will put a film pattern onto almost any hard surfaced object.

Items To Be Processed

There are many items or parts that can be dipped. Any hard surface material that can be submerged into water. Here are some common areas:
-Automotive
-Motorcycles
-Off Road Vehicles
-Firearms
-Household Items
-Electronics(internal components removed)

Process

The first step is to choose a film and base paint for the item you want dipped. There are many to choose from. Once a basic pattern is chosen; wood, metal, carbon fiber, illusions, camo you can get a little more detailed and pick the specific pattern in the categories.
Secondly, the item will be prepped. This will entail the cleaning and priming of the part. Once the part has been primed it will be sanded to a finish that promotes paint adhesion.
As the third step in this process the base paint will be applied. There will be several coats sprayed to ensure complete coverage.
The film is activated and the part is finally dipped in the tank. Then the part is going to be rinsed in the rinse tank.
After a thorough rinsing and dry time, the part is going to be clear coated. DONE!

FAQ'S

There are always the same basic questions we get from people. Here are some to help with common questions.

Is the process difficult to accomplish?
The process is not difficult to someone who has been properly trained. Everyone here goes through a training process with a qualified person before they do their own work.

How durable is the coating?
We will let our product speak for itself. Many of our applications go on off road, autos, and marine applications. These are areas that are constantly abused in the elements. All products are the highest quality that the industry has to offer. Each item is sealed with a UV protectant clear coat.

Does the item need to be disassembled?
Yes. All products need to be completely disassembled, especially firearms. There will be extra fees for dis-assembly on site.

Can a dirty part be sent?
No. Please clean anything that will be sent. The extra time taken to clean parts other than as necessary will have an extra fee.

How long will it take?
We have a usual turn around time of about 9-14 days. This does not include shipping times. Obviously we will try our hardest to complete your order before that time frame. Orders do get backed up sometimes though.

What can be printed on?
Basically any flat or 3-D object that is made of some type of hard material. The item will have to withstand being submerges in water for short to long durations of time.

How does the item need to be shipped?
Pack your items carefully so there is no damage during transit. We will package all items sent out from us as safely as possible. However there is a form to sign for the shipping of items back.

Is full payment required before starting?
No. We do require a 50% deposit on all jobs upon the order being placed. Full payment is required when you receive a form of contact saying that your item is completed.

The possibilities are endless with this process. Each film pattern can be custom colored using a different base coat of paint.
Films range from metal, carbon fiber, illusions, camo, to wood grains. Again, they can all have a different look depending on the paint color underneath the film.
If you would like to schedule a consultation with RL Hydro-Graphix I would be glad to assist. Look at some work that has been done by us at www.rlhydrographix.com
You can reach us at (910) 581-2625 or email info@rlhydrographix.com
Please leave a message and we will promptly call you back if we do not answer.

Details needed for an accurate quote:
1.Film pattern
2.Base color
3.Size of object if it is something unusual

10% off October is almost over guys. November will start regular pricing again except for active military. They will remain with the 10% off.

Well, in a little bit we will be doing an AP front and rear plate bumper, rock sliders, TRD Off-Road wheels, and an exhaust tip in a pattern known as A-TACS Desert. This should be a really sweet rig when the owner is done with all of his mods. Stay tuned.

These are the rear window switch bezels from a Silverado 1500. One under some light and the other not under light. They are Reaper skulls with a candy apple red over them.

Well, we got the job again. Our customer was very happy with the results of our service. We processed the grill, wheels, the little under headlight trim piece, exhaust tip, and All-Pro Rear bumper sides. The pattern used is the Desert A-TACS.

The rest of his truck is going to wrapped in the same pattern with a vinyl.

Our big project right now is a 2013 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca. There are many interior and exterior parts being processed in a true weave carbon fiber.
