    Only had it for about 5months.didn't really use it bcuz I have the 18-55mm.I don't really need the 55-300mm.its only meant for outdoor users because its big.n I don't really take pics of far things.No scratches on lense,minor scratch on barrel.

    U shouldn't be concerned about anything.the lense is always kept in case.
