looks like some time and fab work was spent in this project. although it looks like it might be a little top heavy. is that on old powerwagon in the background?

I could buy another tacoma, ice chest and stereo included for 10k. BAD ASS use of coilovers and a very awesome design :D but quite overpriced IMO

Just a bunch of old crap
I got a good chuckle at the novelty of this grill, and I appreciate fun stuff like this. But, it's a decor piece - not actually useful for towing. The devices on it may work fine, but it would tip over if you tried to pull it anywhere and the components would break off. I only see old stock shocks/springs and some thin metal framing with welds. The wheels are too small to even go over a curb.

$10k is a sentimental price, not a realistic one. Not sure how you even have $1750 into this unless you are paying yourself $100 an hour in labor, plus the cost of supplies, and reeeeaaaaly taking your time building it. Basic economics.

I just don't want you to be disappointed when nobody makes an offer on it. If you want it out of the garage, sell it for $200 and cut your losses.

first off... this trailer is absolutley useful for towing...I do it like xzibit would and trailer the trailer with my (other) trailer...

second off I copy and pasted the following from the build thread, I had 60 hours of labor into this thing that is not accounted for in $:

    Heres the break down:
    Steel:$150
    Front Shocks (Thanks RULER) $90.00
Rear Shocks and stage 1 PRO COMP spacer: Free! (my old parts)
    Misc. Hardware: $100.00
Consumable tools (welding wire, gas, cut off wheels, flap wheels, etc: $100.00
    Electronics: $1000.00+
    Propane & BBQ: $30.00
    Cooler: $20
    Mud Flaps: $5 (swap meet)
Deep Cycle battery: $60.00 (Retail: $100.00)
Aluminum: Free! Thanks state of CA for the road sign
Seats: $30 Each (gotta be able to handle my ass)
    Wood: $30
    Poweder Coating: $140.00

third: other than the dolly frame, the steel components are mostly 1/4" or 3/16" angle iron, schd 40 pipe, 1/2" solid stock round bar....etc. this sucker weighs in at over 300 lbs.

fourth: I have towed this thing around at speed with my bicycle and it has yet to tip over it is actually very stable.

fifth: don't be jealous that you can't afford this incredibly priced machine... It is marketed toward wealthy, redneck, relaxation aficionados...

    sixth: your mom
