Thanks for the bumps guys! I sold it all at a gun show locally and $1 a round was the cheapest price there. One guy was selling just the brass for a $1 per casing! Which i thought was way worse gouging. I do feel like crap trying to charge you guys so much though and for that i apologize. i do have more of the same if someone wants any. I'd let it go for $0.75 on TW. Let me know. Im not really wanting to sell it because im secretly a hoarder lol but i could use the money for some mods to the taco. So 270 rounds for $200 is the new deal! BUMP

The commercial ball powder used in small arms in what we call dual based, nitrocellulose and nitrogycol, and it will destabilize after a number of years, based on storage condition. New powder in magazine storage should be good for decades.

On the other hand, with the production of small arms ammo at the highest point in decades, I suspect some of the commercial loaders might be using recycled or old powder since the supply of new material from St. Marks is limited...

To sum it up, smokeless powder has a shelf life, and when it gets old, it will self heat and catch fire. A 100,000lb plus magazine of smokeless powder selfheated and caught fire in Minden, LA last fall, with a plume two miles high.
