Sooo....some of my customers on here may remember the bloody floor picture i posted a couple months ago...(the puddle of blood on the floor)
well 2 other incidents have occurred since and so far we believe them to have been seizures. My girlfriend was sleeping in the hotel with me a few nights ago and i woke up out of my sleep and yelled her name, and she said i was convulsing then went unresponsive.
This year hasnt started off to well for me one could say. I am in and out of the drs trying to find out whats wrong as of right now, so just wanted to let you guys know because im sure i havent gotten back to some of you. I am doing some decal work still but not as much as I was before. I am more worried about my health right now.
    Hope yall understand!
ill still be around here but I just may not respond as fast as before!
    Thanks
    STEEL

Gotta take care of yourself man. I think everyone should be able to understand that one. Good communication (which you have always been good at) is the key.

Take care, get well and I hope they figure it out quickly!

As a physician, I can totally understand. Are you still Active/ANG/AFRC? Are you seeing a neurologist or your family doc? PM me if you need any help or input but I am sure they are ruling out the big items. Dont want to get into HIPPA items here but willing to be a sounding board for a fellow airman.

My Decal can definately wait till you are back in good health.

Hey doc, I am AFRC. It happened while away at drill. They said some stuff about them maybe covering all expenses since i was on orders...not sure yet though.
I saw my family doc and waiting for an appt. with a neurologist. I am scared to death though, never had anything like this happen before. I am just curious as to what is causing them. =/
I dont do drugs and I dont drink heavily. im at a loss for words.

THANK YOU EVERYONE for the get well soon wishes! I will continue doing decals as my schedule allows. My communication has been poor because of my current situation, but i am hoping to get back in order when things settle down...Thank you for your continued concern and understanding!

Hey Steel if it happened at drill the. The military should pay for t because it would be considered in the line of duty or LOD. If you went to the hospital they should've sent some paperwork with you or a medic. At least that's we we has to do here in the National Guard. I'm a medic and that's how we do it. If double check with your unit but it should be covered if you were on orders.

Hope that helps so you don't have to be stressed about that aspect of it anyways.

    Stay strong brother

Semper Fi or is it cross into the blue for you airman.

I PM'd a long detailed message for you about your condition and as Twinkie stated it should be covered. A LOD is REQUIRED to be done on every encounter (appointment) for any Reservist upon evaluation done in a hospital. If you were seen in a civilian hospital, then you will need to work with your admin folks to get a LOD done. If it was an military facility, they should have done one but again it may not have been. As I said in the PM, any workup to see what it going on, no matter where it is done SHOULD be covered as long as your event happend while on duty (drill). If they find you have a condition that was pre-existing to your Entry onto duty (EOD) date, then long term care may not be covered depending on how long you have been in the AFRC. At some point the military will "buy" anything that comes up while on orders... For active duty that timeframe is 6 years time in service.

I have been AFRC 2 years. I was away at drill, it happened in the hotel room at about 430-5AM before drill. I didnt go with the paramedics because at the time i was pretty confused still and wasnt thinking. (I was more worried about how much I was about to pay out of pocket for an ambulance ride, ER visit, tests, ETC) I should have just went because now the Neurologist appt isnt until March because they are booked. Im sittin here worried about what is wrong with me and I cant find out anything til then. But I really want to find out what the military will cover for me since this happened while I was out there. I have been trying to call the orderly room but nothing yet...
