Hey Guys. new to the forums and the BUY/SELL process here. My only question is.. what kind of guarantee you have that the buyer isnt going to run with your money. With ebay, they have some kind of protection. But what stops a buyer to NOT deliver the product?

    Thanks..

    Not much really.
Tend to not buy things from low post count members.

use the paypal service and link your paypal to a credit card, not your bank account. this way paypal should cover you in a dispute, and if it doesnt you can file a report with your credit card company and they should back you up.

also- check the feedback of the person you are buying from. get all of their info as in name, phone number, and address. talk to them on the phone if you can.

most important- if it smells fishy or doesnt feel right, dont do it.

I must echo what the others above have said. That being said most people on here are decent folk and just another community but every now and again there is someone trying to get over on another. Also I would stay away from western union transfers and that sort of thing.

I've bought a couple of stuff here. Things I look for is the number of posts and the quality of it. I also look for their involvement on this forum. (Are they just posting to buy/sell stuff or are they posting to help other members.) Usually, members with high reputations are highly active on this forum. (I know I don't have much )Those are the little things I keep in mind. And like gainman said,
