Got $325 for mine a few months back on eBay glws sir, people are jumping on these!

 

How much is the monthly fee?

 

The monthly is 30.00 a month + whatever level of minutes you want. It is set up as a family share right now but I will be splitting it up to two separate lines before time of sale.

 

Yeah I know I could ask for 300-350 but I don't mind offering a deal to my fellow TW'ers

 

Sweet so could I just replace my current shared data plan with this plan? I dont want to pay an early cancellation fee...

 

I think you have to do an AOL, Assumption of Liability, to transfer it, pretty simple as long as your credit is good.

 

Yeah but i think you have use the phone number that the OP has also since the data plan is tied to that number.

 

False. Once someone signs the AOL then it is their line to do with as they please. They will be able to change the amount of minutes they want, change phone numbers, etc. they can do anything they want with it. Even "downgrade to a tiered data plan, although that would be pointless. The data plan is tied to the old type of phone account so as long as they don't get rid of the unlimited they they are good.

 

No you would have to cancel your current and then add this one. Either that have two lines. Your under contract with them for that line. This is a well out of contract month to month plan. So they would not want to replace a contracted plan for a non-contracted plan

 

True, or you can pay the 400 dollar or whatever deposit but as long as your account is in good standing for a year they then release that back to you. Trust me I know. I had to do the same thing about 5 years ago

Yeah true. I just hate selling things on eBay. I think it is more personal when don't on forums and such. Better communication and what not

 

when I sold mine the process was actually much easier than I though it was going to be. call up the AOL number, tell them you want to release the account to be taken over by "insert name of buyer here" and then tell the buyer to call the number and take over the line; really is that simple even after selling the data package with the line, you'll still technically have an account with Verizon, there just wont be any lines on it, basically a "blank" account

 

Hmmm interesting that they retain havin an account. I just got off the phone with VZW and they confirmed it all. Super easy to do. This line can be added to any account that is NOT a Share Everything plan

 

Yep I can still log onto my old Verizon account, there's just nothing there to display when I do lol no lines active

 

It is like they are waiting for you to come back lol
