FS. DPMS Panther AP4 Carbine

Does anyone know the regulations on shipping this across state lines, FFL transfers across state lines, etc?

Basically, I'm interested in it, but I'm wondering what the process is since I am not currently (non previously) a gun owner, and I don't have any registration.

If I wanted to buy it, what are the hoops I'd need to jump through?

 

you need it shipped to you ffl "gun store"
go to your gun shop and tell them what you want to do

 

Sweet gun. I'd almost be interested, but I wonder if you're adding too much to the deal, and therefore raising the price too high? Aren't most .223's in the $1000 range (gun only)??

 

Your local gun store would do the transfer/ background check. If you are legal to own then you pay them their fee and then go shoot.

 

Yea,pretty much around about $1000 will buy you a pretty decent ar15. There are alot nicer ones and quite a few lower end models.
I'm sure that there is another$ 1000 in mode. The 2 stage re trigger was $220 itself. Anyone that knows anything about black rifles can look at the pics and tell you$ 1300 is way less than what the gun is worth.

If he was selling just the gun...then it would be high- but you could buy the whole kit and then sell the pieces you don't want and my guess is you'd come out about 1000....Specially at the price he's asking now...

IDK...But if it were me and money was so tight I was worried about a gun/kit being too expensive...I might think about not buying a gun at all...

 

I think it's a good price for your rifle but...
I got my RRA 2 stage trigger for $120...

 

You got a good deal then. Did you order it and diys?. I bought mine at the range and had them drop it in while i was there.
i liked it better than the chip mccormick.

 

They go for ~$120 at Brownells and free to install yourself. Your range unfortunately stole $100 from you. It's a good trigger though.

Why not? Anything goes on our Union site. Work-related section, B/S/T section, membership services section, misc BS section. The site isn't monitored by anyone in management so no big deal. There is a difference in posting something like this at work and posting it in my Union forum. Hopefully someone will want it.
