we are really trying to cut back on the stuff that we have to move to colorado, so we need to give up our portable air conditioner....

it is a 12,000 BTU Amcor NanoMax A12000E with a digital temp display, remote control, and user manual. It also comes with a 5 foot retractable exhaust hose and a window slide bar. it is 2 years old, but we only used it for several weeks during the summer months so its still pretty new.

the lowest cold setting is 62 degrees and it will make a closed, 400 square foot room into an ice box. if you try to cool several rooms with this AC, it wont be super cold, but it will definately take the edge off the heat. at 1000 sqaure feet, it would probably drop the temp about 10-15 degrees.

new, this AC was over $400, but we will let it go for $200. i have it all hooked up so you can see it in use before you buy it.

since this thing weighs 50 pounds, i am not willing to ship it. so, southern califonia only.

send me a PM if you are interested.

    thanks for looking.

Is this an energy star? My friend as an older one and it sucks electricity like no other when we tested the circuit. But his new energy star one is pretty efficient.

Looks like the company has went out of business and not offering support anymore on these. Whats the lowest you can go? I could pick it up this weekend if everything goes smoothly.

i checked the manual and i couldnt find anything that said it was an energy star. to be honest though, we would run that thing day and night for weeks and our power bill didnt go up that much... maybe $10-$15 more a month? but thats worth it to me to be cool :)

we leave on friday so you would have to pick it up before then. if you were to pick it up and pay in cash, i could let it got for $100.

Yup, I really need one this summer. My new apartment doesn't have air and I moved further inland and the end of last summer was uncomfortable.
