I used to be all over an opportunity to get out and ride, not so much anymore. Just grew out of it I guess

 

I had a buyer over the weekend. Guy drove up from San Pedro to pick it up. When he arrived I pulled the quad out, tried to start it and it wouldn't start. Crap. I figured it was bad gas..haven't put fresh gas in it in a long time. So I told him I was going to drain and refill all the fluids change the plugs etc etc, give it a nice tune up and let him know when i get it running...


...next morning I wake up early to work on the quad, and realize I didn't turn the fuel on . Straight newbie move right there!


Called the guy to let him know, and he's not interested anymore.


So yeah, quad is still for sale.

that sucks....got approval from my wife to get one...now I have to get to SoCal....I'll be there in October.

 

Well, the way thing's are looking, I'll probably still have it by then. I've been trying to sell it for 6+ months..

I've only had 1 person look at it, and well, I f*cked that sale up haha.

 

Damn that sucks about you not turning the gas on. Sorry to hear the guy backed out but can you blame him?? He probably thought you were lieing to him when you said it ran great!! Good luck with your sale though brotha!!

 

No I don't blame him. What's funny is he brought like 5 other guys with him, and of all of us standing around - nobody thought to turn the fuel on!

 

Yeah if they were experienced riders then someone should have thought of that!!!

I've been thinking of selling mine as well. I just don't ride anymore either. All my buddies sold their bikes and so there's noone to ride with. It's seriously a bummer because I like riding...
