    sorry for the really stupid question but i wanted to know how this was exactly used i know they make the tires go out more but thats all i know. also looking into buying.

    they provide a lift by putting space between the strut and the mount. I never installed these but by the looks of it, it can be down fairly easy if you are clever. But you might need a spring compressor. You can take these to a muffler shop or some place with a spring compressor and what you have to do is replace the screws on the top portion of the strut and then you throw in back on your truck and you got yourself a lift. maybe an hours worth of work

    dont know never done it. i looked at my struts and it looks like you just replace the existing bolts and then just pop this on top the strut
