Anything. I've seen them used for lockers and power to winches, take-down lights, interior lights, etc. I use its twin as a master kill-switch to all my aftermarket wiring not tied into other things.

Yup took it out with the 5100 install.

 

Just pulled it out and they definately appear to be in good shape. Some minor surface rust on the links, but the boots look perfect.

 

Headlights are spoken for. Will be adding more stuff.
