FS:Toyota truck 1989, SR5, 4WD, 5 spd

I am helping a buddy sell this truck, Contact him if you want any additional information. His truck is a 89, SR5, 4WD, 5 spd, V6, power-dl,w,m,antenna, pop-up sunroof, ac, am-fm-cassette, tinted windows, new carpet mats. This truck has 411,000 miles on it. It runs great and doesn't leak any fluids. I have owned it since 1991. It was hit on the right rear wheel and broke the rear axle and separated the driveshaft. Almost no damage to the body and the frame appears undamaged. The insurance declared it salvage title due to age and mileage. What's it worth is 2K? He really doesnt know what its worth but if you make him a offer, i am sure he will work with you. He can be reached at jprevheim@sbcglobal.net. He is located in SoCal

I would get a new driveshaft and get a used axle here or at a junkyard

So i paid a little more than a lap dance and a 12 pack more like $1200.00 but that's ok. I looked at it again last night in my driveway all it really needs is new leaf springs on one side but I will change both, and a new tire and rim. I might just use the spare for right now until I get some money. Oh and the leaf springs perch needs to be replaced or rewelded
