Is it possible to run extended travel icons on a non LT setup?

 

Yes, They are made for stock trucks. They are too short for long travel. Extended Travel shocks means you will get an extra inch of travel over the normal Icons if you are running any type of aftermarket UCA. If you are not running after market ucas it would get the same amount of travel as the other standard Icons.

 

Ok, reason I asked is because I want to know if I will have to crank the spring down less with extended travel than I would with regular travel to get the same amount of lift (I.e. A smoother riding shock...)

They shock isn't Longer I don't think. I think internally it just allows the shock to max out at a different amount of droop. The only thing I can think of that would do that is if you called Icon and bought longer springs for them so you would not have to crank them as much. I know a few members with King shocks have done that.
