Hid retro projector q! Where to buy

Where/ who sells HID retro headlights? is there a kit? suggestions please from people who have them. not looking to spend too much just wondering.. my trucks in the shop getting a new headlight. maybe i can work on that while its not in working order!. thanks guys!

I think most guys are buying projectors from places like the retrofit source and such and retrofitting them into their stock or aftermarket headlights with clear lenses

your looking at at least $400 for just the parts for and FX-R, matsushita, phillips combo. then you either do the retro yourself, or pay someone to do it...

no way around it, its not cheap.

See I am going to be cheap and use some DDM ballasts and bulbs with some FX-r projectors

I am using the DDM ballasts, but I would recommend against the DDM d2s Bulbs. Get the cheap ones from TRS and you will be steps ahead. The DDM bulbs are hit or miss in their D2s forms, alignment issues and such.

The DDM ballasts are nice though, and super cheap.

Also, you might be interested in the morimoto mini D2s projectors. Iono if they are up on the site, but they should fit without you having to really hack up the lights. Email TRS and they will point in where you want to go pretty well.

make sure you get D2S based bulbs otherwise they will not work...
