I'm deff not going to argue AP's quality bumpers... but I can say it alone didn't save you from serious injuries. My head on was at least 35+ at impact point and while your truck was easily fixable and mine was totaled, it did one hell of a job in only giving me a minor burn from the air back and a minor case of whip lash. The stock Toyota setup is designed with safety first at the cost of sacrificing the truck itself.

Again, not bagg'n on allpro or how well it stood up and did it's job protecting you... but just clarifying that even the stock truck probably would have protected you just as well in that incident. :D

For sure, I'm actually glad to see the AP deformed as much as it did... it kinda worried me how it might react in a similar accident to mine and if it wouldn't give at all... how injuries may or may not occur from the impact. For one, I'm very pleased at how yours turned out and I won't hesitate one bit to install my AP bumper I have sitting here :D

Some people see it bending up as a sign of weakness... they must be forgetting the bumper is designed to protect the truck from low speed trail damage/rocks/ect... not higher speed wrecks.

So in short... whoever gets this steal of a bumper should feel confident in the purchase!

Yeah for sure, im extremely happy with how well it protected me and my passenger. I only suffered some bloody knuckles from punching/shattering the front window on impact  (was bracing myself on the steering wheel as i saw the guy come around the corner)

And the multi-peice design is awesome for this exact reason.. just buy the new pieces and not the whole thing! :D
