Horse Power For Sale.... Doug Thorley Y Pipe

After pulling this off my Truck tonight, it feels like I just sacrificed 20 Hp. No joke! Decided to quiet my beast down a bit. This Pipe is fantastic, and sounds fun and aggressive, but I need something factory like for everyday driving.

So basically guys, this eliminates the two secondary cats. My TRD charger never felt better. I had these paired with the Long tubes, and the engine seemed to operate a whole lot smoother. Faster reving, with more low end torque and top end power, as well.

I just put a set on mine w/o the headers and only a TRD catback.
They do pick up the sound level for sure!!!.

Might be a bit too loud for me as well ( getting old ).

great price for one of these.. These make a great part when going with a true dual setup.

That's exactly what I did, used one of those for the flanges and resonators for a dual exhaust. Leak free plus the resonators help with the sound.

i heard that if u have DTLT's combined with this y-pipe, it will sound horrible...is this true?

 

With the right muffler combo, it sounds great, i have long tubes, pipe bomb and 2 magnaflows and mine sounds awesome and the power is sick, it has a tiny bit of rasp at 3000 and is gone by 3200, when the truck is warmed up, i don't even hear it

 

What's the manufacturer/model info? For $300 shipped I'll order a set for mine if the hp gain is worth it.
