I have for sale a pair of tire cable chains. Included is 2 cable chains, 1 carrying case, and the instruction manual booklet. They have been used 2 (two) times, and are from this past winter season. I only needed them at the top of the mountain, so they haven't seen a lot of use. There is some oxidation on them, which caused the orangish color, but that comes off when touched by hand. There is also so discoloration, probably caused by the road salt, but nothing that will affect performance; actually it makes them more grippy than before when it was smooth metal. I am getting rid of these because i moved on to a bigger tire size (33's) and these won't fit me. They are meant for around stock size or so, and I included a pic of the tire sizes that do fit. I paid $80 brand new, and am selling them for $35; my loss is your gain.

    PRICE DROP
    EDIT: $35, or $45 shipped

I know but out here in Cali the CHP (California Highway Patrol) makes us bring chains up to the mountains and use them if they tell us to.

The state of Oregon and Washington also require chains to at least be in the rig at times while traveling through certain mountain passes and the Columbia River Gorge. Through the Gorge is more because of ice.

Yeah CHP requires chains in the mountains. Snow out there is a whole different beast, whereas here in Colorado while many of us carry chains, the chain laws almost never go into effect except for semis because the snow is drier and therefore less icepack. But if it's a 4 foot dump moving into Donner pass, you better have some chains. I've seen 4wd fail to keep guys on the road more than once out there.
