I am looking for a stock JBL head unit for my 2011 prerunner. I ordered mine here in Honolulu Hawaii with the JBL system that has blue tooth, sub woofer, etc. I also wanted tth ipod interface, but come to find out the 2011's have the xm tuner built into the head unit so the ipod interface will not work.

And by the way in Hawaii we can't get xm.

So I am looking for a earlier year head unit will all of the same features except the built in xm. If your head unit has the xm on the faceplate that means yours has a built in xm tuner.

Let me know what you have and how much you would like for it.

    Thanks.

Just stick with yours and buy a USA Spec PA15 Toy. It plugs into the "CD" port in the back of the JBL, so you keep full functionality.

    73240,
My understanding is that the stock iPod cable WILL work. It just works INSTEAD of XM. So, unless you want BOTH iPod and XM (like me), then the stock cable from Toyota will work just fine.

Of course there are a few other options for non-OEM connections, too. Just search around in the forums and you'll find plenty.
