FS: URD MAF Calibrator

New, I realized I'm too lazy to install it...comes with everything but only a blank map. $190 + shipping!

 

dude, its 6 solder joints...!! i just installed mine last week...totally worth it!!

 

sorry for the noob question but what does the maf calibrator do?

 

leans out your air/fuel mix in open loop to ~12 (from 14 or so). +15 RWHP dyno proven on stock xrunner by URD.

 

i think it recalibrates for whatever new parts are on your truck that arent stock, and maps out better(optimal) power for it, like new exhaust and things like that, so that they can live up to the full potential. aka 15 hp hidden. not sure tho

This is strongly recommended for anyone that is looking to get the maximum power out of a n/a truck. especially those that have an intake and exhaust....

Well the map thats on it is a fuel map for the v6...unless they dont come with any sort of tuning with them?

Contact Gadget or go to a shop that knows how to tune it.

 

you dont purchase a map. you either get a map with it, send it back to gadget and have him tune it for a fee, or go to your local dyno place and haev them tune it
