    I see you said the radio faceplate is the stock black that means no spray paint right? Its actually black plastic? If so and if it will fit on a 07 with the JBL 6/disc head unit I got dibs.

    yosh sounds good, chris it is the stock face plate but i doubt it fits. The jbl 6 disc has a lot of extra buttons than the single disk non jbl

    I'm lookin at the pic and i'm not with my truck right now but unless i'm bad mistaken I don't see any difference. The 1-6 round buttons control all the cd changer functions and it still has eject and load buttons. Thats all I know is different btw the 2. Looks like it would work to me. Maybe somebody can chime in for us.

    dont know if it helps, but here is a pic of the faceplate of a 05-08 JBL stereo... looks like it has the two extra buttons below the tune/volume knobs...and the bottom right is a button on the black one, but a toggle on the JBL one...
