BlitzSafe Ipod converter. Came out of a 2006 Tacoma. The back of the box says the following: "Toy/M Link V.2 Ipod audio and charging. 2002-2005 w/12 pin connector. 2 rows of 6 pins. Replaces changer cable at radio."

This was installing by the previous owner, so I'm not sure of the product number. I think it says 2002-2005 because it was purchased in early 2006. Obviously it works on a 2006 and I would imagine that it would work on later models with the same radio as the '06.

$50 plus $7 in shipping to anywhere in the lower 48.

I didn't install it (it was already there when I bought the truck), but I did unhook it when I installed a new radio. It's basically a plug-n-play affair. It plugs into the wiring harness behing the radio and you just have to route the white Ipod cable to where ever you want it in the vehicle. Sound quality is just as good as the radio or CD.

Just so I'm clear - this isn't one of the FM Modulator type converters where you tune your radio to a certain channel and the Ipod plays through the tuner (wife has one of those in her Sequoia and it sucks). With this, once you have it installed, you plug in your Ipod and hit the "DISC" button on the stock radio and it plays the Ipod.

Yes - it works with the single disc radio. I did not have the JBL radio or the disc changer, either.

A member has contacted me via PM and said he would buy it next Monday. If he does not, I will let you know.

Otherwise, you can buy them directly from Blitzsafe's website.

    Thanks!
