Ipod Integration for Factory Radio

I got a new radio with ipod integration built in so I dont need this anymore. When I bought it (from circuit city), it said it was for Toyota's 2003 and Up. It was in my 07 tacoma and would play music through the disc button I found some specs on it:

• Provides direct audio input from iPod
• Best sound quality- Much better than tape adapters or FM transmitters!
• Easy installation
• Charges iPod

I was not able to charge iPod touch. My iPod nano would work fine and would charge... The radio I have would not change songs since it's the base model... It only works with the ones that have the sat function I was told
