...Armor all helps PREVENT dirt from sticking? Ahahah. I don't know if you're being serious or very sarcastic, but the only thing armorall is good for is acting like glue for dirt.

So, just to be clear, they ARE NOT trail teams TRD original wheels from Toyota? Kind of a big deal to clear up if you want a grand for them in my opinion. "just black trd wheels" doesn't sound like TT TRD original. Sounds like they could be replicas from your description.

Why are all the beads broke? Or is it an optical illusion?

guys idk what a trail team wheel is, these are trd wheels that are black that i bought from toyota, and they are for an fj cruiser but they fit tacomas. Im only asking $1,000 for them because they guy from toyota said i could get atleast that for them. To much? if im asking to much you guys tell me what is a good price. Idk what i should ask. And yes, you need to armoral or wax these wheels so that they clean up easy with just the spray of a hose. Try it, i know this cuz i do detailing.

We are just inquiring because these wheels are fairly rare, and there are a lot more replicas than there are genuine ones. If you have the receipt that you bought these from toyota, and they have the correct stamping on them, etc to prove they are authentic, then the $1000 you are asking is a really good price.

Do not take this offer if they are the real thing.

thanks kpt, im not sure if i still have the receipt from the dealer or not. Ill have to look around for it. I bought them quit a while ago so it might be hard to find. What stamping? where would they be on the wheel? i could take a picture of it if you could tell me where it is and you guys can tell me if i have these "authentic" wheels you speak of

I don't know what the stamping woudl say because I don't have the wheels myself, but if you take a picture of any markings on the wheels and post it here, someone who does have the wheels could confirm that they are genuine...

That's weak OP, here you come in pretending they are the real black ones, and saying you don't even know what a "trail team" wheel is, when your other posts reflect that you know exactly what those wheels are....

And here we are trying to educate you and help you out, when in fact you are just trying to rip off someone...

Ok, I have a set of the Legit Trail Teams and as far as I know this is the only way to tell if they are real or not. They should have this little sticker from Toyota in the inside of the rim stating that they are part # 35080(Trail Teams) and not 35070(the silver TRD ones)

how come there is a different part number on the sticker than the stamped number on the rim itself?

EDIT: genuine question, not trying to razz ya.
