Yeah but 350 is just as good. A lot of parts and different accessories for them can't go wrong with a yota with a 350

I'd pay to take it for a spin at least! Damn - a 350 in that little tub would be awesome! Too many states away though. So how does it drive? What's the history on getting the V8?

bought it with the V8 in it, no paint on the body, v8 didnt run at all, replaced everything but the bottom end with performance parts (heads, IM, carb, distributor)

its gearing and tires are a little much on the road but its still very drivable, i dont drive it on streets much

the right gearing and that right heads/intake/cam etc and that thing would be an absolute screamer on the street.

    i must admit, i didn't click thru....

just curious...since i'm not a buyer, but what sort of compression ratio does that generate? i assume it has a performance cam of some time? what's the rear gearing?

i know..lot of questions for a non buyer. lol

    that'd be fun as heck

    oh well...

if you get bored, you can figure out rear gearing by jacking it up, putting the truck in N and turning the wheels by hand to see how many revolutions it takes to make the drive shaft turn once.

i always thought it would be fun to drop a nice small block into my truck, but man...that would create so many issues, from needing a transmission to handle the power, to weight issues on the front end, to the rear end being able to handle the power, to needed a new gas pedal since we have that damn throttle by wire crap.

anyways, good luck with the sale.

Nice truck man, just a little tip to get your ad out to more people, add an actual picture from the Craigslist photo upload. Most people only search ads with pics, and yours wont come up with just the HTML pics, you need to have one from the site too. GL
