I paid 470, and the direct wire kit was 20. I don't have parking where I live so this is pretty much worthless to me

I have this and it is kick ass. The best part is it is highly sensitive to laser.
I had 1 bar of laser sensitivity come up half a mile from the cop. Although
I wasn't speeding at the time, I was amazed at how far away he was and
I definitely had time to adjust. Obviously wouldn't matter if I was the only
truck on the road etc, but still....
Highly recommend this. Direct wire was easy, used add a fuse to wire it up.

Yeah it is a really good unit, I've had both the valentine 1 aswell as this and I liked the 9500 much more. Also like how you get mark spots where cops are usually at with the gps

Agreed that this is one badass radar detector. I had my old passport escort 8500 since 2002 and I just picked a 9500ix this past june. I expect this one to last almost a decade as well. Good deal on this too!
