This is a 1999 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 extracab with a camper. Gets 19 MPG on the highway!
Great for work, the box has a flat 5' x 6' floor and a roof sturdy enough to haul heavy lumber. Easy and reliable daily-driver.
When it's time to get away, you can camp in style in the insulated camper and cook on the pull-out galley with running water!
This thing is ready for Baja, Death Valley, Anza Borrego, Burning Man, and off-road exploring anywhere.

I have owned the truck since 2002, and just completed the conversion in September 2010. My wife and I had a baby 8 months ago, so I need something with a real back seat.
    I will consider a trade for a 4x4 quad-cab pickup.
    Asking $8,000 or best offer.

    Chassis/drivetrain:
    180,xxx miles
    Original 3RZ-FE 4-cylinder 2.7L 16-valve engine

    5-speed manual transmission
    4x4
    LCE Stainless Steel Header
Engine never modified (other than header)
    Oversize deep-cycle/starting battery
Alloy wheels, 235/85R16 BFG T/A tires (~32") with good tread
    All maintenance records
    Eaton/Detroit Truetrac limited-slip rear differential
    4.56 gears
    Factory manual locking hubs
    Cruise control
    Dakota Digital speedometer calibration
2" receiver hitch with trailer wiring

    Body:
Custom front and rear steel high-clearance bumpers, with recovery points
    Custom rock sliders
    HID off-road lighting
Mounts for Hi-Lift, Axe and Shovel (tools included)
Pull-out galley at rear, with running water electrically fed from 12-gallon fresh water tank. Built-in sink, cutting board, cutlery tray and camp stove.
    On-board air compressor
    Lockable tool compartments
Camper frame built from square tubular steel, with .063 aluminum sheet skin sikabonded and riveted to frame. The aluminum skin is tough!
Camper features sheet-foam insulation and plywood interior paneling. Window curtains included.
Flat load floor in camper is 5' wide and 6' 5" long, more than large enough for a full-size mattress.

    Interior:
    SR5 package with privacy glass
BMW power leather seats (makes a huge difference on long trips)
    iPhone dock
